What I think a visitor might be curious about.
1. Why do you have a new home page? The last one was nice looking.
Thanks (to myself:-). The new one is based on a page that I use locally as my personal home page. I liked the idea of using a similar page online. It's an efficient design.
A few search engines on top, three columns below, ability to add more links without overwhelming the page...
I may go back to the other design at some point. Honestly... I really miss the first version of the home page <sigh>... that was the best one.
2. Why does every link open a new tab? Arghh!
I've been thinking of fixing this. Most other pages are basically their own info-rich portals. Even these subpages open links in new tabs. This is where it becomes a problem.
I'll fix this soon: This home page will still open its links in new tabs. It'll act as a 'launcher' page for the real content.
I'll fix the other (content) pages so that they don't open internal content in a new tab. External sites will still open in a new tab (I'll add ↗ for clarity)
